Your Dental Health

In addition to looking after our members, we are passionate advocates for the improvement of the oral health of the West Australian community.

Your Rights

Do you have a complaint about your dentist?

If you have a complaint about your dentist, we advise the following:

  • Initially, we recommend you speak to your dentist in person about your complaint. If the issue is not resolved, then please put your complaint to the dentist in writing (via email or letter).
  • In the letter, outline your complaint and the outcome you wish to receive (this could be a refund or work redone, for example).
  • Provide a timeline of when you expect the dentist to respond in writing to your complaint.

Providing these details in writing to your dentist will allow them the opportunity to respond to your complaint.

Please note we are a membership association – we do not have a complaints department.
