The ADAWA ADC Part II course will be held on Monday 28 June, Tuesday 29 June and Wednesday 30 June from 9am – 5pm at Oral Health Centre of Western Australia (OHCWA) in Nedlands. The course will be held in the Operative Technique laboratory.
To the best of our ability teeth, instruments, materials etc. will be what is used in the ADC exam.
Day 1 – Hand-on demonstrations of the clinical tasks and then carrying out restorative procedures, followed by feedback on the spot.
Day 2 – Hand-on demonstrations and then carrying out rubber dam placement, endodontic access, crown preparation and temporary crown – with on the spot feed back.
Day 3 – OSKE exams
With on the spot feedback.
You will be provided with one tooth for each exercise. If you have your own Columbia teeth you can bring them to use if time permits. Additional teeth will be available to purchase on the day.
This is not a teaching course but a chance to carry out procedures in a simulated examination environment and get immediate feedback.
