How to Restore or Replace

With more and more techniques and methods available in the area of restorative dentistry, as well as advances in implant treatment, the decision to restore or to extract and replace worn, broken down teeth becomes more challenging, less clear cut and more of a grey area. Dr Lazar will discuss guidelines and the decision making process of when and how to restore worn and broken down teeth/dentition and illustrate these with numerous case studies.

Key Topics to be covered:

  • Restoration of heavily worn and broken down teeth.
  • Methods of increasing the VDO.
  • Occlusal concepts of extensive treatment – guidelines for long term success.
  • Aesthetics – the new driving force.
  • Implants – our third dentition.
