ADAWA at Fremantle Dental Clinic

ADAWA received a grand tour of Fremantle’s brand new dental clinic this week – and were suitably impressed.

Now in Fremantle Hospital, the state-of-the-art clinic has 9 treatment rooms – each of which features artwork from a local artist.

Dental Health Service general manager Sam Carrello (pictured here with Drs Gino Cirillo, Kevin Minson, Trang Quach and our very own David Hallett) told ADAWA the clinic will provide vital general dental care to more than 30,000 eligible patients in the Fremantle catchment area.

$2.99 million was spent relocating and equipping the new purpose-built, public clinic, which is expected to receive more than 8,000 visits each year. The clinic forms part of the North Metropolitan Health Service Dental Health Service, and is one of 28 public dental services in WA.

The impressive clinic will offer patients:

  1. Dental examinations and assessments
  2. Radiographic examinations and interpretation
  3. Preventative and prophylactic services
  4. Periodontics
  5. Extractions and minor oral surgery procedures
  6. Fillings, dentures and some crown and bridge services
