EXCITING OPPORTUNITY IN BROOME WESTERN AUSTRALIA FOR 2 DENTISTS
Position open for consideration of Recent Graduates and Sponsorship in Broome.

Broome is a beautiful coastal destination near the top of Western Australia, with a delightful tropical climate and a population of 17,000 that swells to 45 ,000 during the Dry season (April-October). This provides a wonderful transition between a bustling tourist town and a quiet paradise nestled in the heart of the Kimberly region.

Broome is the gateway to Kimberley’s, one of the last great wildernesses of the world. It has stunning beaches, abundant camping and fishing opportunities as well as a thriving, diverse, colourful cultural community of people from all over the world. This brings with it a multitude of health and wellness opportunities.
Even with the swell in tourist population, Broome currently only has 3 dental practices which means a high patient to practitioner ratio. An incredible opportunity awaits any Dentist looking to establish themselves quickly in a high demand location with a steady patient and solid fee base, without the competition found in cities.

Our Practice

Pearly White’s Dental is a private practice which was opened 11 years ago and has been busy ever since. Built by the Principal Dentist Dr Angela McIntosh (BDS Otago), it offers kind, compassionate and educational dentistry to the local community. We offer all general dentistry as well as complex dentistry through a visiting Dentist (Dr Kieran Chew (BDS). He has years of experience and is incredibly competent and trusted for our complex surgical cases and implants and a marvelous source of knowledge and support for all things dental.

We are a team of one Principal Dentist and a full-time Oral Health Therapist, Joana Fronda, both of whom live in Broome as well as a part time Oral Health Therapist, who is from Newcastle but is studying Medicine in Broome. Our Dental Assistants, Reception and Administration staff are fun, energetic and dedicated to the clinicians’ and patients’ wellbeing and for Pearly Whites Dental to thrive. We are a multinational team hailing from New Zealand, Belgium, Ireland, Iran as well as Australia.

We refer orthodontic cases to a regular visiting Specialist as well as one from the UK who has recently moved here. We are also happy to have a Pediatric Dentist that has also moved to Broome and that is available for referrals for complex dental treatment of children that cannot be treated by our Oral Health Therapists.
The practice is fortunate to have a wonderful customer base. The high demand for dentistry in a close-knit town means a no-tolerance policy for customers who act aggressively or rudely. The local community is very trusting in our exceptional long-term care. The tourist population is also always incredibly grateful to be treated for urgent dental issues while travelling.

Our practice features three well-equipped surgeries including two recently upgraded dental chairs. We regularly invest in new equipment to maintain a smooth, efficient, and modern clinical environment and adhere to the highest infection control standards.

We pride ourselves on exceptional patient care with our Principal Dentist Dr Angela McIntosh supporting many dental phobic and anxious patients through their treatment plans. The level of care delivered by our practice can be seen in our wonderful customer reviews.
“I have never had such a pleasant NON scary experience at the dentist.”
“From the moment you arrive; Angela and her team make you feel comfortable and welcome.”
“As a traveler only in Broome for a few days… my dentist was amazing – extremely thorough in her exam and treatment, as well as being very caring … I couldn’t have hoped for a better service.”
