This course is aimed at dentists already placing implants, and will guide the dentist through fundamentals of where to place an implant in relation to relevant anatomy using the digital planning software DTX.
The surgical placement of dental implants requires careful planning to optimise the long term aesthetic and functional outcome. Not only is a 3 dimensional radiographic scan essential, but the use of implant planning software can enhances the outcome significantly.
This course is aimed at dentists already placing implants, and will guide the dentist through fundamentals of where to place an implant in relation to relevant anatomy using the digital planning software DTX.
The course will include hands on training with multiple cases to gain experience in digital implant planning.
A 3 month subscription of the DTX software will be provided as part of the course. The software will be provided prior to the course to all delegates to ensure smooth operation on the day.
This is a limited attendance course.
Dr Graham Carmichael is a Board registered Prosthodontist and faculty member of the Brånemark Center in West Perth. He obtained a BDSc from the University of Western Australia and has a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics from the University of Sydney.
Dr Carmichael is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and a consultant prosthodontist at Perth Children’s Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital. He lectures nationally and internationally on all aspects of Prosthodontics.
